Mountain Ash, Australia-Segment 1

Order a limited edition, custom print of this ancient tree signed by Robert Ouellette. The 13×19 inch photograph is on high-quality, luster paper and printed using archival inks. It is an artwork meant to last a lifetime.

This tree is found in the Macquarie Pass, Blue Mountains, Australia. During the 2019–20 Australian bushfire season, the entire mountain range was engulfed in flames. According to preliminary reports, up to 80% of this World Heritage Area burned. We are not sure yet if this mature, unique tree survived the fires. In spite one of the worst fires ever recorded in Australia, and in the face of more than one-billion animals lost, their government remains bent on doing, well, nothing to fight climate change. The tree is close to the Carrington Falls nature reserve.
