Founder

Robert Ouellette is an award-winning artist, architect, and urban designer whose work has been exhibited internationally, including at the Art Gallery of Ontario, the Bibliothèque Nationale de France, and the Venice Biennale.His team won the prestigious Concorde-Pacific Public Sculpture Award in Vancouver through a global competition. He has collaborated and exhibited alongside renowned artists such as Edward Burtynsky, Bernie Miller, and David Rokeby. Robert served as the Director of the University of Toronto’s Information Technology Design Centre (Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design) and was an invited respondent at the United Nations Sustainable Cities Conference in New York. He received the “City Father” award in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and was named one of Canada’s Clean50 2020 award winners for his leadership in sustainability. He is also a past Chair of the Sierra Club Ontario Chapter.

A pioneer in the field, Robert was among the first designers to harness virtual reality (VR) imaging tools to communicate the complex stories of cities and the creative minds shaping them. His current work includes the innovative Barked Archive project, which uses cutting-edge imaging technologies to document and preserve the unique beauty of ancient trees.

Advisor, Sustainable Design

Sarah's worldwide work in the hospitality industry focuses on the importance of nature in successful placemaking. Trained as an architect at the Chalmers School of Architecture in Gothenberg, Sweden, and the University of Toronto, Sarah creates place-based experiences grounded in the beauty of the natural world. She is a design development and branding consultant to major hospitality providers including Six Senses Resorts, Four Seasons Hotels, and Nikki Beach. Her projects help sustain and preserve sites in Bora Bora, the Maldives, and the Seychelles—to name just a few.
